Joerg Rieger
Dottore in teologia, ha studiato teologia ed etica alla Duke University di Durham (North Carolina, USA), specializzandosi poi a Reutlingen e a Tubinga (Germania). Dal 1994 al 2008 ha insegnato teologia sistematica e, dal 2009, è docente di teologia costruttiva alla Perkins School of Theology della Southern Methodist University con sede a Dallas (Texas, USA). È inoltre visiting professor in alcune università statunitensi, brasiliane e sudafricane.
Ha al suo attivo svariate pubblicazioni, fra le quali: No Rising Tide. Theology, Economics, and the Future (Minneapolis 2009); Traveling. Christian Explorations of Daily Living (Minneapolis 2011); Grace under Pressure. Negotiating the Heart of the Methodist Traditions (Nashville 2011); e, insieme con Kwok Pui-lan, Occupy Religion. Theology of the Multitude (Lanham 2012).
